It is at moments like this - when there is a category 5 storm churning in the ocean threatening a major interruption in our modern way of life, do we realize that even with all our intellectual conquests and technological advancements, 'we are just one more drop in the great ocean of matter.'
All we can do (other than preparing the best we can or getting out of the way) is to surrender to mother nature's will with deep humility.
And perhaps because we have the ability to realize our existence,
we can pause to ponder:
How can I make my drop matter?
What ripples do I want to make?
Which other drops can I join to make some waves?
