"Limitations live only in our minds but if we use our imaginations, our possibilities become limitless." - Jamie Paolinetti
This Sunday's inspiration is from a farewell email I received from a coachee. She was leaving her company to follow greener pastures. Only the greener pastures she described was owning a goat farm in the foothills of the himalayas. She conjured up images of 'sipping himalayan tea, meditating and contemplating the deeper meaning of life.' I knew THAT email would be the source of my Sunday inspiration.
For the next 3 days it occupied my mind -
💡 awakening #limitless possibilities and admiration of her imagination and courage,
🌺 appreciation for the simple yet compelling choices right in front of us that few of us pursue,
❓ and questioning why when we think of limitless possibility - most of us settle for more technology, more stuff, space exploration, colonizing mars. Could limitless possibility be as simple as exploring peace and happiness right here on earth?
I was snapped back into reality when I learned that the story was only light hearted parting humor. Was I naive to think it was real or was the image of 'goat farming in the foothills of the himalayas' exactly what I needed to unlock my own limited mind?
